Division Background
Division 3 consists of 8 Flotillas located in cities along the Coast of the Gulf of Mexico from Bay St Louis, Mississippi, at the western end, to Orange Beach, Alabama, at the eastern end. Accordingly, most of the flotillas' activities take place in the coastal waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and in support of the US Coast Guard Stations at Gulfport and Pascagoula, Mississippi and Mobile, Alabama. Our members actively participate in the functions that form the four cornerstones of the Auxiliary. These are -Service to its Members, Recreational Boating Safety, Coast Guard and State Support Services and Fellowship. Many of these activities involve working directly with active members of the U. S. Coast Guard as well as with the general public.
